HandUp Congo's environment projects acknowledged with first Silver award

Rotary International now has 7 Areas of Focus, having added a new one in 2020, Protecting the Environment. This means that the Rotary International Areas of Focus now align with all 17 of the Sustainable Development Goals which were adopted by the United Nations in 2015.

On March 19, HandUp Congo’s environment initiatives in Lotumbe were amongst the Rotary eClub of Greater Sydney’s projects honoured with Rotary District 9685’s first Silver environment award. Hooray!
