Caring for kids in Lotumbe

Lotumbe’s rural health zone has been busy providing polio vaccinations for all children up to 5 years old. Meanwhile, the Monkeypox epidemic is still affecting hundreds in the area.

Centre for Disease Control investigators are now headed to the area, 300 km from Equateur Province’s capital of Mbandaka, to collect data. More medicines and protective gear are needed.
